Have you ever had problems trying to figure out if a story line was considered cannon while reading a comic? Did you ever read something, believing it to be apart of the company’s main universe only later to find out that it is not?

Cataclysm Comics has an interesting way of solving that problem. It has Two Company logos!

If you ever see the two “c”s facing one another with a Mushroom cloud in the middle on a comic, that means it is cannon and part of the main universe! There is no doubt that this is part of the ongoing saga of Cataclysm Comics. You may see this more regularly than the next symbol.

If you see the two “C”s facing each other with a cracked earth in the middle, It is a publishing house story. This story may either A.) be about the main universe’s heroes, but may be an alternative story that has nothing to add to the main ongoing story of Cataclysm’s main universe or B.) it may be a totally different, self contained story that absolutely has nothing to do with The main universe at all. You may not see this symbol as much as the first.

These two unique logos will differentiate the two, giving the readers the sense that the story that they are reading is part of the major universe or not and is unique to Cataclysm Comics.

Cataclysm also has several different “fun” logos that you will be seeing on Merchandise and for other future iterations of media dealing with the company, so keep your eyes peeled for different forms of the logo and let us know which one of the two happens to be your favorite.
